Description:

Morgan Stanley is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Structured Equity Solutions team in Mumbai. This role is a great opportunity for candidates interested in investment banking, capital markets, equity products, and financial analysis.

As part of the Global Capital Markets team, you will support the structuring, analysis, pricing, and execution of equity-linked and derivative-based transactions. You will work closely with teams across different countries and gain exposure to global financial markets and investment banking operations.

Role Summary:

In this role, you will support various structured equity transactions such as convertible bonds, share buybacks, structured equity offerings, and hedging solutions. You will perform financial analysis, build models, conduct market research, prepare presentations, and assist in transaction execution.

This position provides excellent exposure to financial markets, investment banking products, and client-facing transactions while helping you build strong analytical and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support execution of equity-linked and structured finance transactions.
• Build and maintain financial and scenario analysis models.
• Analyze market trends, industry data, and comparable transactions.
• Evaluate valuation, pricing, dilution, and risk management considerations.
• Support shareholder, liquidity, and investor analysis.
• Assist in developing hedging and risk management solutions.
• Prepare pitch books, presentations, market updates, and transaction materials.
• Maintain databases, reports, and market tracking dashboards.
• Coordinate with global banking and trading teams.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives.

Requirements:

• MBA, CA, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and capital markets products.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience with financial modeling and valuation analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Dealogic, LSEG, or similar market data platforms.
• Knowledge of derivatives, options, or structured products is an advantage.
• Programming or AI tool experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
